Beware all - ITF buys double potency Belgium beers that I mistake as usual strength. That results in me writing myself for the evening very quickly.

He claims to provide full disclosure, but a quick explanation in a raucous pub doesn't count as full disclosure for me.

If by "usual strength" we mean 7-pct ABV, then absolutely! For all you craft beer nerds out there, it was Bell's Two-Hearted Ale, a delicious American IPA. Good luck downing more than 5-6 of those.
