BB FT 2022 Recruiting Process

Is it common for people with junior SA offers to network for FT before starting their summer internship? I'm really excited about my bank, but especially in this environment, I want to be prepared and do some networking in case I don't get a return offer.

Does anyone have advice on how to navigate FT recruiting? Do the BBs recruit group by group? Any idea on timelines would be very helpful.
