Good idea to meet with Desk Head before starting?
I will be starting as an S&T SA in 2 weeks time and I have recently been given names of heads of the 2 desks in which I'll be working later (2 desk rotations).
I am wondering if it would be a good idea to email them now and perhaps ask to meet up before my SA stint start? If so, is there anything that I should be taking about with them in particular?
