Offer Decision: Piper Jaffray, Rothschild, RBC, Mizuho, Nomura
My friend has SA IBD offers at Piper Jaffray, Rothschild, RBC, Mizuho, and Nomura in NYC. How would you rank these firms? She's interested in FT BB and PE exit opps. Thank you!

Rothschild, then either RBC or Nomura from what i've heard
why the fcuk are you typing for your friend? is she that impotent?
Some people just say "friend" thinking it makes them more anonymous. Idk why. I used to do it but don't anymore
I'd say Rothschild. Your "friend" would also be fine at Nomura or Piper, assuming she liked the groups there. Mizuho might be a little tough because because its more foreign and not a typical feeder to PE.
Agreed with Rothschild
Rothschild, RBC, Nomura/Piper
Are you going sign the offer letter for your "friend" also
Rothschild no question.
Rothschild def
According to this extremely reputable website: http://nyjobsource.com/investmentbanks.html
Piper Jaffray is up there with Lazard and Credit Suisse, so take PJC all the way!
... You do realize that Rothschild is an extremely well respected boutique, right?
PJC is a well-regarded MM IB
Easily Rothschild then nomura/rbc then piper
.
I say Nomura. They've been making moves like Silvio Berlusconi! I really think they will go places.
Rothschild, RBC and Nomura can all be leveraged to a BB. However, you/ she should DEFINITELY consider the fact that she might not be able to jump ship and should therefore take the firm of the 3 she feels she could hang with for 2+ years
Rothschild is very strong. Nomura/RBC are closely behind. If any of these are group specific offers or different locations it may tip the scale in certain directions...
Rothschild, Piper Jaffray, Nomura
Here is a no-brainer! Rothschild.
lawl piper jefferies, are u gonna wear some menswearhouse suits fulltime?
With smaller banks groups can make a big difference if you have any say/guarantee. For example Mizuho has some good groups/specialties (project finance, Latam, Asia) but overall would be pretty low on that list.
Wow, sure as hell hope your "friend" didn't sign with Nomura
Take Rothschild. I'd put Nomura well below both PJC and RBC.
I would hope OP would have chosen by now
You can't beat Financial Aristocracy lawl. In London, I'd actually consider Rothschild over GS, too.
Why? Is RS really that strong in LND?
Rothschild, then RBC, then Nomura / Piper
Anyone know what Rothschild NYC's SA to FT offer rate generally is? I've heard in the 90s percent wise, but I have not been able to confirm
