Interview
I already worked in another office for this company and wanted to change teams and geographies. I saw the public job posting and reached out internally to the hiring manager. We spoke on the phone once and then met in person and talked at a conference we both planned to be at already. Shortly after this in person discussion I was offered the position.
Interview Questions
Nothing too unexpected as my interview was almost 100% behavioral and fit based. Interviewed did ask some hard questions about what my plans were for the long term and how the role would fit into that.

Interview
The interview process started with an initial phone screening that focused on general background and interest in the role. After that, I was given a modeling test to complete within a set timeframe. The final round consisted of an in-person interview held at the office, where I met with several team members in a group-style format. The conversations touched on both technical and qualitative aspects. Overall, the process was fairly straightforward and moved along at a reasonable pace. Communication was professional throughout, and each stage seemed designed to evaluate a mix of technical skills and overall fit.
Interview Questions
They asked about my underwriting experience, especially around financial modeling.

Interview
I received an email from a recruiter thanking me for my application and asking to schedule a phone interview. The first round was a short 20-minute conversation with the recruiter, mainly focused on my background, my interest in real estate, and whether I was open to different locations. It was pretty relaxed, but I made sure to show that I’d done my research on CBRE and understood the basics of property management. A few days later, I was contacted to set up a second interview with a senior property manager. That call was more in-depth and lasted about 45 minutes—they asked about how I handle multitasking, how I’d respond to tenant concerns, and what I knew about building operations or lease documents. It felt more conversational than formal, and I appreciated how transparent and friendly they were. There wasn’t a third round for me, but some people I spoke to later mentioned having a short call with a regional director depending on the office. After a week, I got a call with the offer and some follow-up emails about onboarding and background checks. Overall, the process was really smooth, and everyone I spoke to was approachable and professional. The culture came across as fast-paced but supportive, with an emphasis on client service and problem-solving. If you're applying, I’d recommend being clear about your interest in real estate, brushing up on your basic understanding of property management, and showing that you're proactive and organized

Applied online, quick phone call then a 1 on 1. The 1 on 1 was very behavioral heavy. There was a meeting with an associate level person, followed by the MD of the group. The first round asked basic technicals like WACC formula, and the second round was all behavioral and why you wanted to join the team.
Interview Questions

Interview
The total interview process consisted of two interviews. I applied to the role online and was reached out to about a week later. The first round was a phone interview that lasted about 15-20 minutes. In this interview I was asked basic questions about myself and walking through my resume and past experiences. It went very well and was an easy interview. Two days later I got an email to schedule a 2nd round (final) interview in their office with multiple different members of the team at the same time. In this interview, there was the managing partner and three analysts. They took turns asking questions about my schooling/past internships, then asked a lot about my motivations for applying and wanting to work in the field. Also, near the end they asked basic technical questions regarding DCF's and other real estate terms such as cap rates and NPV. Overall, the process was quick and efficient and the people I met were nice and put an emphasis on making the process smooth and appealing.
