MBS / Fixed-Income Analyst

Through a mutual acquaintance who had worked in HR at Moody's my resume was passed to the Hiring Manager. About a week later I received a phone call from HR for a brief Q&A on general motivation, skills and then asked to set up an interview. Confirmed for the following week and went in to talk with a Manager with the group. Interview itself was behavioral with technical questions peppered in. Quite a few questions regarding work style, how you do in teams and how well you react under pressure. Did fairly well on this part however some technicals I missed because I did not study as fully as I should have about the product group. Lasted about an hour. Called the Manager after a week who said they were still reviewing all candidates and a final decision would be made soon. Maybe a week later I received an email from the manager saying it was a pleasure but we went with someone with more experience and education (MBA). Overall it was a decent interview which helped expose weaknesses in my presentation to ultimately improve for the job I am currently at.
