2.5 weeks between initial phone screen and interview. Still waiting for a rejection/offer. Be well prepared as soon as you apply, as this group is very technically focused.
Interview Questions
By far the most difficult interview I've ever had. Not mentioning specific questions in this thread. However, a word of advice. Knowing basic technicals will not get you past the superday; understanding the L48 Shale plays, commodity mixes in each basin, and price differentials between commodities is a check in the box. Market knowledge will help you in the interview, but most of the VPs or ADs in the group come from a technical background, so you'll more than likely answer a question completely wrong. Maintain composure and keep a level head and you might have a chance.

Heard back a few days later about 2nd round, a Superday in-office. Had 3 30-min interviews back to back. 1 fully behavioural, 2 technical (again more market-based questions) and 1 panel interview which a mix of behavioural and technical questions, as well as a stock pitch.

Interview
First, I attended a campus event - this was in September so it was extremely packed. About a week later, positions I was interested in opened up, so I applied and let the recruiter know. I got an email about a week later saying I had a group interview (I think they call them coffee chats, treat it like an interview) the next morning. A few days after that, I was informed that there was an in-person interview in ~48 hours. The same thing happened the next week for the final round of interviews.

Interview
The first-round interview was scheduled with an Associate and an Analyst, which focused primarily on my technical foundation, prior experiences, and interest in the role. The Superday consisted of interviews with two Managing Directors and was more conversational in nature, centered on judgment, long-term fit, and how I think about clients and transactions at a higher level also went in depth from technical that where asked in previous interview. Speaking directly with senior leadership provided insight into the firm’s culture, expectations, and strategic direction. Overall, the process felt well-structured and allowed me to engage with professionals across levels, reinforcing my interest in the team and the opportunity.

Started with HR phone screen which asked TMAY, why Scotiabank, why S&T. This was followed by a group interview whereby everyone discussed their technical skills in Python/VBA/SQL followed by a series of market-based questions. Final was a superday in person with 3 MDs back to back (30 min increments) asking a series of brain teasers (mental math), market views, and scenario questions.
