What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The phone interview consisted of background questions and brain teasers.
- Why SIG?
- Are you willing to work in Philadelphia?
- Who else are you interviewing with?
- Bayes theorem classic question.
- Expected value question of a binomial distribution. It was impossible to compute by hand. They wanted me to make an approximation using the normal distribution. The interviewer had to give me the hint. That's probably why I did not go through to the next round.
