Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I received an invitation to interview through on campus recruiting. The interview was 1 on 1 and focused 70% on fit/resume etc and 30% on technicals, which were mainly probability based. Overall this part of the process was relatively easy. I was then invited to have a phone interview with the head of the department, which was almost entirely fit and involved questions like "what does a company look for when they hire someone new?" This part contained no technicals and very little about SIG or the role I was interviewing for - I kept attempting to bring my answers back to that.
