As last time, my lovely friend Christine will be taking care of us in the UPSTAIRS part.
This time I wanted to also add some directed discussion topics.
Andy had suggested possibly: mba admissions process and summer analyst positions.
My office is doing it's first internship class, partnered with IIT's MFE program. So I can answer any questions related to that.
Hopefully by letting these topics be known in advance we can clear the advice market.

I'm planning on attending this event. How was the turnout at previous meetups?
10-14 people. This will be our second time in this location, and we are going to try to make it a permanent spot so people will know where to go.
The crowd has been diverse too. Lots of good discussion.
I really liked Midtown for the last meetup, so I'd be fine with that. Plus it is a really good central location for finance people in the city

The first time I went was the last one, and I had a good time. Not too many people at the beginning, but it got up to about 12 or so when I left. I would expect more this time though because it was very cold AND very rainy last time, whereas this time it will just be cold. And it will still be somewhat light out when this thing starts, which is always good for morale.
And WhiteHat, welcome to Chi! Don't worry, give it 2 months and the weather will be perfect. Almost through this winter....
Hmm. Not earnings season. No prior commitments. Holy shit, I might actually make it.

I haven't been to one of these before, but I would assume it is "whatever you would normally wear to a bar".
