As one of the most important and high profile leaders in the Consulting industry, heading one of the the most prestigious firms in the world, Manny has experience advising CEOs and senior management teams across many different industries and geographies. He first joined Bain over 30 years ago in 1988 and is champion for diversity in the industry, making history as the first Asian leader of one of the "Big Three" MBB. He is responsible for all aspects of the firm's strategy, team and operations across Bain's global network of 50+ offices and over 12,000 employees. Manny leads the firm in its mission to deliver the best client results in the management consulting industry. Bain is notable for its corporate culture, and has been ranked #1 in Glassdoor's Best Places to Work awards four times. Having first joined Bain as a Summer Intern back in 1988, Manny is a wonderful example of a success story, rising up rapidly through the ranks and establishing a stellar reputation for specialising in "full potential" transformations. These involved strategy, performance improvement, customer loyalty and organisational effectiveness and result in meaningful long-term increases in enterprise value. Before taking over at the firm's helm, he formally led Bain's Global Full Potential Transformation Group, served as Chairman of Bain's Asia-Pacific region, and Global leader of Bain's Performance Improvement practice, Reengineering practice and global recruiting team. Born in the United States and raised in the Philippines, he is the eldest son of the late Filipino Senator Ernesto Maceda who formerly served as Senate President. Manny is a member of the Advisory Board of the MIT Sloan School of Management where he did his Masters.
