Yeah... flying out to Paris for a one day drinking festival, while quite tempting, just doesn't work - Especially near summer finals time. However, if you make your way to the WSO Conference, your first round is on me.
I might be in the area. I have an auntie who lives in the 16th or 17th 'arrondissement' (cain't remember for sure).

Eddie, you think you can get a better showing than Boston? We had 6 in Boston a few weeks ago which was fun, but taking over a room might be expecting a lot :-)
....we did have 11,000 visits from France in the last 30 days, but I'm assuming most didnt stumble on this event.
I have no idea how many monkeys we even have in Paris. I've had drinks one-on-one with a few who have passed through, but no clue how many are actually here permanently. Might end up like a typical night for me: drinking alone.
In but prospect monkey from a non-target, won't be bringing much(experience/stories) to the table.
I am in Paris for a few days prior, traveling around France, then in Paris for a few days after... Just missing Bastille day, sadly.

This is a bummer. The wife and I will only be in Paris until the 4th (missing it by a week) and then Copenhagen until the 19th. Oh well, I'm sure I will have ample opportunities to meet wsoers for the NYC gatherings.
Dammit Eddie, I'm sorely tempted to fly out just for this. Come hell or high water, I'm gong to party with you soon enough!

Okay, that pretty much sucked. Nobody showed and I'm home by 9. At least I crushed 5 pints of Dark de Triomphe. Yet another reason to quit drinking and GTFO of France.
...figured...we can get 30-40 in NYC, 5-10 in Boston, but more than 1 in Paris would be surprising...maybe someone was there and just wasnt sure if it was you? :-)
