JPM Private Bank Bonuses
Basically just title - does anyone have any color as to what bonuses are like in J.P. Morgan Private Bank at the analyst level? I know An1 base is 100k, and I'm pretty sure An2 is 105/110. Would really appreciate some insight!

Around 20-30% of base, depending on the year. The bonus ranges are fairly tight while you're an analyst.
20-30k is pretty good for that WLB…
The first-year stub bonus was 8.5k this year.
2nd year analyst was pretty poor this year.
At 105base now 110. Very market dependent. The general range was 17k bottom, 20k mid, 23k top. However, this varied by market. Know some offices/teams where it was 20-23-25, and others where it was 15-17-20. This is only for 2nd year analysts. First year analyst stub was 8.5k while the new associate roles tended to be 27.5-30-33 from what I heard.
Something else to consider is that the hours in the PB especially for banker analysts have kind of gone to shit. Most folks easily hitting 13-14hour days 5 days a week now. The pay is great if it was what most folks signed up for which was a 7:30-6:30ish job. Know analysts who have been coming in at 7 15ish and leaving around 9/10.
Is JPM currently hiring in the PB? I’m looking to lateral from IB at the associate level.
Hiring has definitely slowed after being in super expansion mode for the last year and a half but there is still hiring depending on the office you want to work in as AWM as a whole did well compared to the rest of the bank.
What’s contributing to the increase in hours for the PB? Have the hours always tended to ramp up to 13-14 hour days for periods of time, or is it a new normal?
Massive expansion mode without the junior support. Essentially hired a ton of new senior advisors who bring on clients/pitching without the appropriate increase in junior level support. They have added junior heads but not as much.
Also case by case, team by team basis. Most of the investment specific teams have largely kept their hours but the relationship/banker teams have seen theirs go up massively.

To add to this thread: 2nd year analyst in PB Solutions. 2024. Bonus was disappointing IMO, sub $25k on a $105 base. Base to move up to $110…
Also in Solutions as a 2nd Year - agreed it was extremely disappointing. The work required in Solutions roles isn’t commensurate to the bonuses imo.
