Macquarie Asset Management London – Analyst 1 Hours & Compensation

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any insights into working at Macquarie Asset Management in London, particularly within the infrastructure / real assets investment teams?

I'm specifically interested in the Analyst 1 position:

• Working hours: What are the typical weekly hours? How do they compare to investment banking, both during normal periods and busy deal periods?
• Compensation: What are the typical Analyst 1 base salary and annual bonus figures?
• Work-life balance: Is the lifestyle genuinely better than investment banking, or can the deal-driven nature of the role still make it quite demanding?
