Am i cooked for MBB
i’ve wanted mbb since highschool but went to a public target (Berkeley, Mich, Mccombs)but never managed to get an internship at MBB instead did an ib analyst internship at a middle market and am returning full time. can i get mbb without MBA?
In the current environment, no shot. They're laying people off and pushing back start dates. Not looking to bring in anyone new. Let's hope the market turns around and things pick back up, then they'll be trying to bring up headcount
Ignore the summer associate - no layoffs for consultants, just a return to up or out. Someone at BB can correct me if their situation is different.
Hiring at grad/ MBA level is not affected, start dates may be. Apply and see how things pan out
Very unlikely unless you develop a niche expertise that happens to be in demand. MBA is your best chance.
would say it’s a long shot but possible, i went to one of those schools and had referrals plus strategy consulting experience and got rejected from all. i will say i recruited for last cycle though. not many seats in MBB, i would say the more important question is whether you can land a seat in T2 for sure.
is T2 even prestigious pay wise and exits wise
