Background Check Traffic Citation -- Consulting Offer

I recently got an offer from from a large consulting company (think Strategy&, Accenture, etc). However, I recently received a traffic-related citation in my state, with a court-date coming up. Basically I caused a minor accident, no one hurt but a car got towed. Will this impact my background check process? Should I disclose this? It is NOT a misdemeanor nor a felony, but it looks like it's a driving violation that would show up on a driving records check IF the court case doesn't go well. Do consulting companies look at driving records like this/should I reveal it beforehand?

Seriously? You're fine, dude. Why is there even a court date? Unless you were drunk or extremely reckless, like something you could be criminally convicted for, there's nothing to worry about. Everyone has a couple speeding tickets or fender benders. I'm fairly sure that sort of stuff doesn't even show up on a background check. They're looking for violence, drugs, theft, etc, crimes reflect poorly on the character of the potential employee.

Yeah there is a court date but no reckless or any criminal charge. It could possibly show up on a driving record check though done via driver's license -- just wondering if consulting companies looked at driving records. I don't think it's a big deal just was wondering about if they'd appreciate disclosure or if I should ignore it.
