Bain Target Schools
Hi team, I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Miami looking to apply for Bain's 2024 Summer Internship program. On the application window it lists a ton of universities and noticed mine wasn't on it. Does that mean I'll have a more difficult time recruiting?
How are some of those schools "Targets"...?
That sounds pretty pretentious, bain takes people and recruits from a wide variety of schools

I think they're asking if the school's listed on Bain's application window are target schools for the firm.
I'm curious about this as well since I'm an incoming freshman interested in consulting but unfortunately my school isn't on that list...
You can tell if your school is a target by looking it up and seeing if there is a dedicated recruiting team (search here: https://www.bain.com/careers/roles/ac/). If your school has its own page with a recruiter profile, it is a "target" which means they will actively work with you to get your resume in. The list above may not be exhaustive.
