best firms to lateral into MBB

currently an undergrad and made it to final rounds for MBB, but didn’t get an offer. If i want to move into MBB later but don’t want to restart in a new grad role. What roles/firms would you look at that would position me well?

I currently have offers from Big4 in Advisory, boutique consulting firm in restructuring (think: Alvarez & Marsal, Alix, FTI), and boutique strategy consulting (think: Keystone, ISG, Guidehouse). Also waiting to hear back from a few finance places.

MBB in general do management consulting so whatever is closest to that from my understanding. Granted, I have seen people move from restructuring to McKinsey (potentially given that McKinsey at least then had a restructuring practice), but the more common route to MBB besides direct from school is generally moving from a Tier 2 consultancy where the consultant was doing similar work albeit just at a different firm. Big 4 advisory can be like that from what I know in terms of doing similar work to MBB firms but at what may be a less prestigious brand name in some circles. Not sure if I know much about the guidehouses of the world. Good luck :)
