I would suggest networking within your current B4 to try and get a role on the M&A/transaction due diligence team. Will broaden exits quite a bit if you want banking and eventually PE. If you want to go do risk at JPM or something, then stay the course. Should be easier to do this internally than externally, especially given that deals are down. May require an MBA depending on your current profile

 

If you want those, B4 corporate risk absolutely won't cut it. Goal should be get to banking, which, in your case, will be best done via B4 M&A DD teams or MBA associate route. MBA more likely in this scenario imo unless rates get cut dramatically and hiring picks up significantly
