Boutique Consulting Exits?
Target (HYP) and incoming analyst at a TMT Consulting firm with target pipelines (think Altman Solon but newer/smaller, founded by ex Altman Solon people). Serve alot of major PE clients, etc., comp in line with MBB. Wondering what exits look like at a firm like this, if the optionality in general in term of exits will be similar to MBB/T2, and if I would be able to compete with ppl at those firms exits wise. Have done the linkedin search stuff but wanted a more broad appraisal.
Advice I was passed on was to work at a boutique consulting firm for a year and then lateral into a tier 2 or tier 1 firm. Of course I don't know the specifics, and I'm speaking on my own circumstances and experience in dealing with boutique firms.
