Boutique PE Focused Firms
Hi Everyone,I'm looking into some of the solid boutique consultancies that offer DD services to PE firms and other financial sponsors. Ideally with a focus on front end items like target screening and evaluation, and market research etc. Could you share the names of a few firms that fit this profile? Stax would be a great example. Thanks in advance!
Kaiser Associates has a dedicated PE arms which does only that. Other firms include Candesic (healthcare focus), CIL Management Consultants, Graph Strategy (founded by ex-Kaiser people) and Armstrong Transaction Services (UK-focused). I'm sure there are plenty of other smaller regional boutiques I'm missing, but these should be a good starting point.

Most strategy firms should have some sort of PE arm. IGS and Fairfield are 2 larger boutiques with a PE presence. There are also many industry specific firms who do a lot of DD, e.g. Altman Solon for TMT (really telco) or Avascent for aerospace & defense
