Boutique vs Bain Next Generation Product Management

I am currently a consultant at a vault top 10 boutique consulting firm. We mostly do federal IT strategy work and Analytics implementation. I recently received an offer from Bain as a Business Engineer in their Next Generation Product Management team. From what I can gather, this team works with senior partners to develop accelerators for their case teams. It's a focus of Bain's to increase their digital capabilities to keep up with M/B and this team is at the center of it.

If my end goal is VC or MBA -> IB or MBA -> MBB would it be better to stay with my boutique firm as a consultant or move to Bain in a non-consultant role (although potentially an influential role)?
