BRG Corporate Finance

Hi all,

Recently got a first round with BRG corporate finance division. I know BRG is mostly economic consulting focused, which is why I applied, but it seems like this position might be slightly different than I anticipated. Can someone shed a light on the type of work this group does and how it compares to both management consulting and traditional economic consulting? Is it mostly restructuring work?

I don’t have any background in finance and I fit the economic consulting background so much more so I’m curious about why I got the interview/if there is any crossover. Don’t want to waste the interviewers time if it’s something I don’t think I’ll enjoy.

many thanks
