Business Consulting at top econ consulting shop vs. KPMG EVS
goals: VC-->top mba or top mba --> VC. Not entirely invested in getting into VC, but mba is top priority.
things to know: no modeling experience. currently interning in a vc-related role.
some preliminary thoughts: Business Consulting: better pay, well-established mba exit opps, nature of the work
KPMG: modeling, rise to manager easily, tuition reimbursement, brand equity (maybe...)
Really value WSO and its denizen on matters like this. would love to hear your thoughts.
if your econ consulting shop is top 6 and bschool is really your goal then consulting should be a no-brainer. also its highly unlikely you'll break into VC post-mba and im guessing nearly impossible pre-mba
