Can I ask a consultant from XYZ firm to review my resume and CL for XYZ firm?
I go to a target school, and met a lot of consultants at on-campus recruiting events. Would it be bad to ask one with whom I have built a connection to review my resume and cover letter before applying to his firm?
I wouldn't do it, but...
If you go to a target than you must know someone who is a class or two above you who works in consulting at a different firm. Ask him/her to look over it for you.
