Can these connections get me an interview despite a 3.2 GPA?

I just learned that I'm connected to a managing partner at one of the MBB firms and another managing partner at a second MBB firm. I had a 3.2 UG GPA but it's from a target school. Despite this, can I still get an interview for a full-time associate job with my mediocre GPA if I can get these guys to refer me to recruiters?

I have solid work experience in private wealth management, middle-market investment banking, and business development, but they're all from relatively no-name companies.

How are you connected to them? If you are 4th cousins 3 times removed and see each other at weddings, I highly doubt they will vouch for you.

If you are close, then they can definitely get you an interview.
