Career prospect of Risk Consulting.
Hi,
I am a recent grad and have started my career in operational risk at a 40B-asset-sized bank for a month now. I just don't feel operational risk is the right fit for me with all the repetitive and boring work everyday. I want to break into risk consulting and I do understand some major consulting firms are recruiting for risk consulting specialist.
Can anyone share some opinions about how risk consulting is like compared to risk in a bank? Also what are the major differences between the projects, wfb that general consultant and risk specialist could get? Also anyone cares to share what the exit opportunity would be for risk consulting?
Thanks in advance to all those who would reply!
