Chance of getting the interview: Introduced by an MBB Partner to the recruiting team

Did my chance of getting an invitation for an interview increase if I was introduced by an MBB Partner to the recruiting team? (I do not know what the Partner said because I just received an e-mail from the recruiting team to tell them whenever I send my application online)

In addition, I have spoken with other consultants inside the MBB firm. I am applying at an Asian office. Here are my credentials:
- Non-target school (say unknown school) - 3.70 US GPA equivalent, perfect grade at quantitative and mathematical analysis courses
- Professional experience (2-3 years) - Lower-tier consulting firm and private company where I made impact such as increase the company's in revenue by $10.0M, managed a project with a team of 5 staffs
- Leadership experience - President of an organization where I initiated new projects

You should be fine. Be sure to follow up with Partner and HR team. Good Luck

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.

I think I can only follow-up the HR team. And I did but MBB1 HR told me that they have received a lot of applications and they will inform me in two weeks. The MBB2 HR said from the start that they will get back to me next month. Sounds like I will still go through the normal screening. Do you think I have additional points for being introduced by the Partner (like the HR put a mark or star or something in my resume haha)?

For MBB3, a manager-level consultant said he will refer me for an interview. Just waiting for it!

Even a first year analyst can get you that interview if they forward you resume with a positive feedback to HR.
