Coffee Chat with Recruiter - not consultant

I have a coffee chat with a recruiter coming up, and I'm wondering how I should go about it in that he isn't a consultant himself. So I can't really ask much about the day-to-day experience, cases, etc. What would you advise me to talk about/ask? Thanks!

Take it as if you're talking to a full-time consultant. A good recruiter should know the ins-and-out of the business, the type of cases that the firm specializes in, the career trajectory, training involved etc. I'd prepare a list of questions with same level of detail.

^ While the above advice is good and you should prepare that way, I have had plenty of recruiters who were airheads. For these you have to try to ask more about general processes, what the internship program is like, mentorship programs etc. It's honestly difficult to go through these sometimes but be prepared to adapt the conversation.
