Consultant@MBB or Senior Cons@boutique/Tier2s

I am re-entering consulting, after 1.5 years at a startup. Prior to the start up, I spent 4 years rising up the ranks at a well paying TMT consulting firm. Exited at consultant level to join the start up, though I was on track to a senior consultant promotion

I am now deciding between : 1. MBB (entering at consultant level) 2. Going back to my previous boutique consulting firm (senior consultant level) 3. In house consulting (senior consultant level)

In terms of pay, 312 (my ex-firm pays equal to MBB) In terms of prestige, not sure if 1/2 is better In terms of work life balance, it’s likely 213 (exact opposite of pay) In terms of long term career progression and stability, 3 is best

Would you guys think taking a step backwards if I go for options 1 or 3? Any thoughts or advice? Thanks!
