Is there a list or document somewhere out there that breaks up all of the tier 1, 2, and 3 consulting firms into the type of projects that they do? Would really like to get an insight on some of the specific projects and types of cases each firm typically specializes in. Or could some of you chime in on your experiences with some of the firms you've been at or had friends at please?

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I've seen that thread but rather than just operational projects, I was looking to get some insight on some more specific projects and client engagements that these firms usually take on or are known to be good at.
For example, XYZ firm specializes in internal IT restructuring etcetc.
i know Booz Allen specializes in government stuff, Oliver Wyman specializes in financial service, i know bain gets a lot of private equity engagements.
