Consulting - stay or leave?

.I am considering leaving an MBB for an Industry Role.
What do you think are the chances of going back to MBB / other consulting if I don't like Industry? It's hard to know without trying...

Comp is the same, role in industry looks great...

...you're at an MBB now, yet you choose to ask this question on WSO? Ask around when you get to work tomorrow, you'll get better answers.

The last manager I worked for, who is one of the best managers I've ever had, left for two years to try making a living writing screenplays. He's now knocking on the door of being elected partner. During my sell weekend, I had a one-on-one with a manager who had just come back after working for a client for a while, he's now a partner. Two of the last five partners I've worked for were partners at other firms. I wouldn't say it's "usual" to jump around but it's not at all uncommon.
