Consulting vs BNP Securities Services

HI guys, is the BNP Securities Services a back office role like operations? Should I choose a NYC small-mid size consulting firm or BNP Securities Services in Denver?

I am not a huge fan of consulting, but I have been told that having 2-3 years of consulting experience is a good plus for personal developement. Plus this consulting is a very boutique consulting that 80% of all the emploeeys are from ivy league, so I guess I can stick and learn from the smart people.

On the other side, I do prefer finance industry and I am wondering does the BNP brand or this role as securities service will help me to get into finance industry better in the future?

Thanks
