Current Vanderbilt Sophomore Looking to go into Consulting

I just transferred to Vanderbilt as a sophomore and was looking to get into Consulting but I had a few questions.

- How much does GPA matter and ideally what GPA would I need to get into MBB/top consulting firm?

- How does my school affect my chances of landing internships/roles?

- How important is joining the consulting clubs/doing case competitions at my school?

- What do people mean when they say "recruiting"

- What is the best way to network (go to networking events/business frat, etc.)
