Customer Strategy Consulting?
Hi all,
I come from a B4 financial advisory (2.5 years) + corp. dev. (1 year) background. I'm currently helping out a MedTech start-up with their Series A round and I found I really enjoyed my exposure to customer and marketing strategy, and am looking to learn more about customer strategy consulting (like this example) or related industry-roles.
For those working in the field, could you share your experience so far, types of projects you have worked on (there seems to be various sub-service lines within, such as marketing, analytics etc.), any technical skillsets that are required/useful, and the best way to break in for experienced hires?
Also, what are some of the common exit opportunities, or industry roles that would be on-par with what you do in customer strat. consulting? Would it be something along the lines of product marketing, brand management (P&G type) etc.?
