Yep, can confirm this will be the case
What is the best course of action so?
To keep quiet and hope they don’t ask for a transcript. I know people who have done this and it worked out.
Edit: I’m just assuming here that you lied about your overall GPA. If you haven’t actually lied, then you’re probably fine either way. Still no need to jump the gun. Good luck hustla
Try see if you can resubmit your CV on the portal.
Can’t unfortunately
Just email them and be honest. Say your grades dropped for personal reasons and you wanted them to have the latest possible grade. Worked in the past for me atleast
Don’t say shit
Did you have a 1:1 when you sent your resume in? On the US side it's not a big deal if your grades drop below the cutoff as long as they were accurate when you recruited. May be different in the UK but would be surprised if they're holding to two different standards
Obviously he didn't
He's worried about "my grades this year turning out to be X" and dropping below the 1:1 cutoff. Recruiting was a long time ago.
Pretty sure he had the cutoff when he recruited and it's just now fallen - if so he's fine. If he lied about his grades at the time of recruiting then yeah he's screwed
