Did I just screw my chances?

I wrote a thank you letter to an HR person for doing my initial phone screen and accidentally said, "Thank you taking the time to interview me" instead of "Thank you for taking the time to interview me." I felt like the interview otherwise went well and that I gave great responses to the questions asked. I'm hoping that forgetting "for" doesn't ding me automatically and that the fact that I sent a thank you letter with this typo is better than not sending one at all.

I'm pretty sure you will find out soon. What happened to just saying, "Aww shit", then figuring out what shakes out with it? In the time that it takes to write this post, you could've been moving on to your next opportunity.
