Do experienced consultants need to practice case studies?
I have worked for one of the top management consulting firms for the past 2-3 years, but am now interviewing with a direct competitor.
My interviews will include cases that I'll have to solve. I'm wondering whether, as somebody who has done this job, I need to prepare for the case portion of the interviews, or is my experience combined with the old track record of doing well in case interviews a guarantee that I'll succeed?
I have never been in your position, but I think you will need to do well in the case studies as nothing is ever a gurantee.
