Economic Consulting Advancement
I'm interested in pursuing a career in economic consulting . From what I understand, advancement into associate positions usually tends to come from getting either a PHD or an MBA. I don't particularly want to dedicate 6 years of my life to a PHD and I'm not super interested in an MBA either. However, I'd much prefer a program such as masters in economics and statistics that Duke offers (or a similar program). Does anyone have any insight as to whether this sort of a masters degree can help advance to associate level in economic consulting? Thanks
