Engineering undergrad wanting to move back to engineering after 2 years in consulting

I am an engineering undergrad (robotics) who has been working in Consulting for the past 2 years (straight after undergrad). Now I feel that I should move back to an engineering role. I like business but my heart lies in engineering.
What are my options now / recommended next steps? I have strong quant/ technical/analytical skills and an interest in startups.
