Exit opportunities after EY Parthenon

I have been offered an senior executive position at EY Parthenon - I currently work in an IR, CorpDev role. The pay would be better an hopefully a bit more better WLB but my concern is the exit opportunities. I want to eventually work buyside. Curious if people would have thoughts on a such year or two stint at the likes of EYP or wait it out even if under consulting for Tier1 opportunities.

I’m still in my first job so have a lot of scope to grow - just want to make sure I make the right next move!
