Anyone what the expected salary is for first year associates (base+ bonus) for EYP?

130K bonus- first year associate, the hourly rate is 45
100k base
10k signing (have heard various different things but this is the norm for new non-intern joiners)
15% bonus target (last year had crazy bonuses so who knows))
Total cash at 125k for first year.
MBB Y1 comp being ~140ish and T2 Y1 comp being ~130ish is starting to close on banking pretty quick. Outside of the EBs, seems like going forward ~160-170k is the reasonable guess for BB banks in an average year. Given you can still go PE from MBB, Consulting has to start seeming a little more attractive relatively speaking
Def better chances of getting PE from BB than from consulting though
True, but the impression I’ve heard from MBB friends and online is that most people that want to go into PE will have the chance to, you just have to be slightly more pro-active
