Final Round EYP Interview
Interviewing with EYP for an experienced strategy consulting position in MENA.
I finished a case/fit interview with a manager recently. Didn’t really prepare much primarily because my life is in a state of semi chaos right now, but I don’t want to take that risk with my final interview.
I suspect that the final interview will be similar, comprising fit/behavioral/case components. Given limited time (my interview is next week, I work long hours, and I have other personal issues I have to deal with), what’s the most efficient way to prepare? Are there EYP-specific resources?
Given your limited availability, I would advise CraftingCases self-study resources for some case drills and RocketBlocks math drills to remain sharp.
Outside of that, polish your behavioural questions and company-specific information. Review a few points to mention for EY-P (like their strategy transaction practice/publications, EY Ripple/ESG, anyone know you at the firm/cultural boast, etc.).
Instead of scheduling 1.5 hr session for case prep, you may opt for 20-30 minutes for a specific purpose. For instance, for 20 minutes today, focus on just behaviorual question delivery.

Are cases generally more difficult at the final stage or is that stage more predicated on fit? The case I got with the manager was definitely easy - passed it without any prep and was basically told by the manager it was easy because I was applying for a post-MBA position.
When you say final round, I'm unsure if you'll be speaking with Partners (as a partner chat) or senior management. The trend definitely gears more toward fit/behavioural the more senior you go. I recall in my casing experience, the associates/managers gave me full three-phased cases with market sizing, math and marketing strategy and then senior management gave some market sizing or factors problem.
