Finding an appropriate Big4 Job?

Finance and Economics major. I'm interested in AM, and investing in general. I'm unsure of which areas of consulting really make sense for me considering my background. I've looked through a lot of Big4 positions, and nothing really fits the bill. Would management consulting for asset managers be a reasonable way to move into an investing role if the more traditional routes are more difficult to move into?
