Free berries?

I'm joining OW in a few month's time. I need to get a new blackberry, but was just wondering if OW might hook me up with one. Do you guys know if the top consulting firms do? I'd ask the firm's HR but I don't want to seem like a greedy bitch!

IlliniProgrammerRepeat after me:

YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO GIVE YOU A BLACKBERRY

YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO GIVE YOU A BLACKBERRY.

Showing up at a bank or consulting firm and having them give you a blackberry is like showing up at the county jail and having them give you a free pair of leg irons. It means they can now reach you 24/7.

Many a fresh college grad has fallen for this...

You will be glued to your Blackberry, answering your EM's bs requests. All the time. While going out for lunch, while on a taxi, when you enter a hotel lobby/aircraft, office building, when you're at a party, when you're on the loo, when you're going to bed, when you're woken up at 4am, while you brush your teeth, while you're on your way to work, while you're in front of your computer, while you're in a lift with your team after a meeting (everyone mailing everyone in your team their thoughts). While in a club. While in a restaurant. While on the phone. All the fucking time. During the week, during weekends, even on holidays.
