Good consulting firms to intern at beyond MBB and T2?

I was unable to secure an offer for an internship for summer 2022 at any of MBB, LEK, OW, S&, EYP, Deloitte, ACN. What are some good firms I should look into that still have applications open, that would position me well for FT recruiting next year?

I'm not sure if your location, but consider applying to local boutiques with 5-50 employees. Reach out via LinkedIn (or email them if you can) and see if they have capacity to hire an intern. Also, don't limit yourself to just consulting, any professional experience will help you, not just consulting. Corporate Finance, Investment Banking (if available for applications), Accounting, all of them will give you exposure into the corporate world and help build on foundational soft skills (written/verbal communication) and technical skills (MS Excel/PPT).

Consulting firms have a unanimous consensus that the experience itself matters a lot less than having a good impact at wherever you land. If you have the time, energy and discipline, you could create your own blog/brand alongside your internship (wherever that may be) and publish thought pieces/case studies on companies that executed well on strategy or horribly bombed.
