GPA as Computer Science

Hi all,

I'm a freshman in CS at a T20 large public university. I'm considering going into consulting, but I'm worried about GPA. Here's my situation:

- Right now, I have around a 3.2. BUT who knows where it'll be after this quarter, I decided to get all of my worst requirements out of the way, but the average in those classes is around a B-.

- I'm planning on graduating in 3 years.

- Interning at FAANG in technical strategy/operations this summer

I know my resume alone is fine, but will my GPA get me tossed out? Is my only hope to spend all 4 years in school improve my GPA next year (which I'm certain I can do), then apply for my junior summer?

Any advice is great. Not sure how many CS majors go into consulting, but tbh I've been enjoying CS due to it's practicality and well... not needing to care as much about grades because of harsh curves and low medians. I just don't see myself going into Software Engineering...
