Gratitude to an alumnus

So I have one great alumnus who is visiting my college in February for a presentation. He is very senior in a consulting firm and has previously referred me to a position which I got last year.

I plan to talk to him then. What should I say when seeing him except thankyou? Also, should i propose any activities to entertain him?

MMBinNCask him if he wants you to do it with no hands, he'll know what you mean

This.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

Um, without meaningful context this is a meaningless question. - Who invited him to campus? - How many other people have ties as strong as or stronger than yours? etc.
