Help deciding FT offers

I need some help deciding between two full-time offers. I have interests in consulting/consulting adjacent roles, but really want to learn a lot in the first couple of years outside of college to know what I actually want to do (I am lost....)

1. EY Financial Services Risk Management Consulting Staff

More interested in location, not too much about the job though.

2. Capital One Management Rotation Program - Mclean or Richmond

Just received this offer and honestly not sure where they will place me, but I am hoping for Mclean. Not the biggest fan of the possibility of living in Richmond.

Congrats about your offer. In terms of deciding which offer to take, I suggest you to think about whether you like the work and whether the firm has great culture first. If you know you really like consulting, I will choose EY over Capital One. Otherwise, I would recommend you choose Capital One

c1 pay is higher prob and better exits. I would go C1 bc they invest so heavily in talent

EY is more in line with a long term career in Consulting. CapOne, although the "pay is higher" is likely not that much higher considering you're in McClean, traditionally a lower HCOL location. CapOne industry exposure is more limited, and a lot more internal focused, based on what I've heard. Even BAs I've talked to said most of their work is "internal strategy" focused. EY is just more generalist consulting. Although you're on the implementation side, it shines in the industry exposure, especially as a junior when you can be on various engagements across the year.
