HEOR+MA career

Hey monkeys, I was hoping to get some input from people that have worked in or are very familiar with the HEOR+MA space. I have an offer to join a boutique consulting firm that specializes in this (the firm is less than 60 people, most have PHD's). The work sounds like it could be interesting but I'm worried about a few things.

1) that I will get bored and then find myself in a situation where I don't have enough transferable skills to leave the pharma industry
2) that I like the work but that my lack of life science education will keep me from advancing either within this specific consulting space or in making an eventual exit to a managerial role in big pharma

For context, I'm finishing up my undergrad this semester at a top 15 uni where I majored in statistics. Big thanks to anybody that gives their input.
